Simulation of laser-induced quartz ablation for nano powder production

The article devoted to mathematical modeling of quartz nanoparticles production during pulse millisecond influence of CO2 – laser. The mathematical model for calculation of the temperature field distribution of quartz core during influence of CO2 – laser on core end and on its rotating surface with taking into consideration evaporation of material was developed. Evaporation rate during different laser pulses was determined.
